Like another poster, I experienced this with my 60D when I hadn't upgraded the DPP software disc. Put the new disc in, problem was solved. I did not have to reload the images, it was just a matter of the older software not being able to read the newer files.

Opening DPP Files without Serif DrawPlus Drawing or Document Processor CORE Project File

DPP stores all of the 'Tool Palette' settings and 'Ratings' by writing that data into the CR2 file using 'File' menu 'Save' or 'Save As.' The only way to see your DPP edits is to open the CR2 file in DPP OR use DPP 'Convert and Save' to create a TIFF or JPEG copy with the DPP edits applied.

Different software packages tend to sometimes share similar file types. Serif DrawPlus Drawing and Document Processor CORE Project File are some of the popular programs that use the DPP file extension, so you should be able to use any of these two to open your file. You might even be able to find others by doing a quick Google search.

Hi, i've tried to create a dpp file from the kura gateway project, but everytime i create the dpp file it is empty.
Does anyone have a clue why this problem occurs?
It only happens to me, when i am using eclipse ee (the version from december 2020) in my debian environment in virtualbox. I do not have this issue within windows.
In the attachemnts you can see my view of the opened file.

On my Eclipse EE v418 the ddp file creation wizard is missing :-(

Yes, but I didn't think that feature depended on that plugin.
I re-installed it and it seems to work.

To re-install I used this location http://mtoolkit-neon.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com Is it ok for last Eclipse or there is an updated version?
